Howl was rather pleased with his reception in Paradisa. Apparently being a wizard earned him more popularity points than usual. Apparently, one of his amazed commentors was really eager to see his magic. Ed seemed like quite the young gal with her ecstatic, almost childlike reaction. And what kind of gentleman would Howl be if he didn't give her a good show?
The stairs weren't the most thrilling thing in the world to go down, but it wasn't unbearable. Howl devised future plans in his head to make the flight more efficient and a bit more enjoyable. But at the moment he was satisfied with his freshly dyed golden blonde locks that was sure to drive many of the estrogen-driven females wild. (Though, to be perfectly clear, that wasn't his intention with Ed. It was merely to be cordial.)
Ah. 1319.
Howl rapped gently on the door. After a brief pause he called, "I do hope you're in there. I wouldn't have wanted to go down all those stairs for nothing."
