Who: Lelouch Lamperouge (zero-lelu) and Suzaku Kururugi white-knight11) What: DDR-ing, yo! Plus, they need to talk. When: Today :D Where: Games Room Rating: PG~
Lelouch's eyes widened as Suzaku pulled him towards the machine, stumbling slightly as the sudden movement caught him off balance. Stepping awkwardly onto the now vacated machine, he turned and stared somewhat helplessly at Suzaku, wondering what was so great about this machine that he had to make a fool of himself on it. The only plus he could think of was that he wasn't wearing a cat outfit.
With a defeated sigh, he turned his attention to the screen of the machine, studying it for a few moments, before looking down at the four, equally separated arrows beneath his feet, and then back up at the screen. Technically, he figured, the premise wasn't difficult. However, the premise and theory of something, and actually completing that action successfully were very, very different things.
Glancing sideways at Suzaku, he gave a slight nod, and vocalised his submission. "Fine." Raising a hand to his head, he ran his fingers through his hair briefly, before speaking again. "Uh,do you want to... Start it?"
Suzaku was going through the settings for himself and Lelouch when the other spoke.
"Sure, this shouldn't be too bad." Light for Lelouch, Heavy and stealth for himself (he'd been secretely playing while they were setting up, whenever Watanuki wasn't making him set up other things).
Standing up again, the brunet turned, smiled briefly at Lelouch before the music started.
Lelouch watched as Suzaku set up the play modes, briefly wondering what 'stealth' meant in terms of a game that featured scrolling arrows, before ignoring the thought altogether. Returning Suzaku's msile, Lelouch once again faced the screen, feeling surprisingly tense as the music started, and the arrows started scrolling up the screen. It was fast
( ... )
Suzaku was at as much of a loss as Lelouch. What could they do? What could be done? He was a soldier, a knight, to an Empire that had destroyed his home country, and was now at odds with his dear friend. What was there to be done?
"... We've been friends since seven years ago, right?"
Looking at the Britannian Prince in the eye, Suzaku's face bloomed into a smile as he added, "I hope we can stay this way. For now, even if we don't have forever, I just want us to stay together."
Lelouch couldn't help but return the smile, chuckling softly as he replied. "Yeah, we've been friends for all that time." Pausing he raised his eyes to the ceiling. "I suppose 'now' is all we've got. There's no point in making plans for the future in a place such as this, when it seems to have no sense of normality, or anything that stays the same." Pausing, he thought for a moment. "At least there's less to worry about. And no cats."
He was glad that there was no animosity between them. Of course, that could be due to the fact that they weren't currently in Japan, but... He wasn't going to start complaining about the matter.

"LELOUCH!! Over here!" Running up to the Britannian, Suzaku grabbed Lelouch's arm and pulled him towards the machine instead.
"We can talk after you try this out. Trust me, Lelouch, it's fun!"

"I hope that if cats do show up, they'll at least refrain from biting me as much as Arthur did..."
Suzaku relaxed though. Maybe things could work out. Maybe.
