Who: Shiba Kaien [twistedflowerxx] and Iroh [western_dragon]
What: Teaming up to kill a horde of Ganados~ Iroh's also intrigued at the fact Kaien's a water 'bender' and is yet a spirit!
When: During the invasion, while the Ganados are still on the ground floor
Where: First floor!
Rating: PG-13 at most, probably~
Kaien had to admit, he was getting quite the workout today fighting off the Ganados. He was constantly forced to move, whether it be to dodge something, stab a few zombies with his trident or use a bit of water manipulation to knock down a few Ganados and buy himself some time. Needless to say, the Shiba was beginning to tire, breaths coming harder to him, his lungs and chest beginning to hurt.
Sure, Hollows were more difficult to defeat... but they never usually came in such packs, either. He'd underestimated his enemy, and he was paying the price.
He'd shut his journal after speaking with Iroh, the creatures beginning to surround him and make it too difficult to respond to entries in the journal anymore. As he fended off another zombie with the golden head of his trident, Kaien heard a whizzing that was beginning to, annoyingly enough, become all too familiar to him. He turned to fend off another sickle flying at him, before swinging his trident in a wide arch, a stream of water appearing and following the trident's path to whip out at a few zombies surrounding the fukutaichou and knock them back.
Gasping for breath Kaien backed against the wall, glancing about his surroundings. Rukia, Ukitake-taichou... Irvine, Sora, Ravi, Lana. He couldn't die, for their sakes. There would be no one to pass his heart on to if he died here. And so he dived back into the fray with a yell, hoping that Iroh would arrive soon.
