Who: Zack and Sephiroth.
What: Searching for the nonexistent castle owner.
When: Today?
Where: Beginning on the tenth floor.
Rating: PG.
Sephiroth was in his room, rifling through the pages of the journal. His sword rested against the wall: nothing else in the room looked like it had been touched so far.
It was the first time he'd seen Zack in years, and he'd thought that he'd actually killed him--now that he was alive (in this strange world, anyway), he wasn't sure what to do. He couldn't really apologize, and anyway, he was too busy telling himself that Zack had gotten in his way, and shouldn't have done that--but it was hard to keep believing that without Jenova whispering in his ear.
Nonetheless, Zack didn't seem too hostile, so that was something. He was willing to help, even. It was almost nostalgic, though, and it made him just a tiny bit unsure of how to act, so he waited with slight apprehension.
