[ He kind of flinches at the mention of Earth, abruptly averting his eyes. Yeah, maybe not. Rubbing at the back of his neck with a sigh, Jr. shrugs absently. ]
[ she catches that. weeeelp. and then she furrows her brows at the phrase. nudge, being nudge, swings her pack around to her front, and digs a pocket dictionary out of it. she looks up the word 'transcend'. the phrase doesn't really become any clearer to her. ]
[ There's an incredibly odd look in his eye when she sees that, and a twitch to his lips concealing a smile before he turns away.
The things he knew... It was just beyond sanity. And not something any castle resident was ever going to hear from him. And this subject, still, draws a thread of contempt into his tone. ]
Oh people still have their religion. Which leads to cults. And those are always fun.
[ she's pretty confused, especially at that look, but she nods slowly. what she knows about religion is pretty meagre, but she supposes that the existence of cults is normal enough. ]
Tonnes of fun...
I know someone from the future who doesn't live on Earth anymore; something bad happened to it. Now she travels around on a spaceship and visits other planets where there are people. Is it like that in your future?
[ That almost catches him off guard. Absently he wonders if she's talking about Faye, but he doesn't ask. He's never eager to talk about her. And she could mean someone else.
He consider what he should and shouldn't tell her. By now he's accepted the knowledge doesn't seem to break any time space continuum. ]
Well... No one really lives on Earth, anymore. [ There's a hesitant pause. ] Probably. And in my time, it's known as Lost Jerusalem. Keyword lost.
[ it's good that he doesn't, because that would just prompt her to ask about faye. she means zoe. ]
Lost as in... [ she lets her hands form a circle, and them breaks them apart while making a 'kablooey' sound, looking questioningly at him. ] And why Jerusalem?
[ He shakes his head at that, then pauses, and shrugs. ]
No, it's just...lost. I know, how do you lose a planet, right? But it's sorta complicated. The name, well... It's not like I was around when they re-named it. I'm not that old.
Currently the capital is Fifth Jerusalem, though that isn't where I tend to stay. ...Okay I'm not staying anywhere now. But you get my drift.
[ He still forgets to use past tense with things... Even his ship. Ugh this is just depressing now. B( ]

Who else am I gonna lean on when times get rough? Who else am I gonna... something.. something. Something.
