While not as productive as I'd hoped, I will say that the journey was quite informative as to the strange landmarks around us. In addition, knowing that the area where magic, technology, and other powers, however one defines them, cease working is in fact only in effect for a certain radius, the possibility of exploring the lands beyond that dead zone in a much more efficient manner becomes available.
[At this point, Raine has pasted in her best copy of a map of the lands the group covered on the journey along with marks denoting the specific landmarks they passed and her best estimate of the areas where powers do and do not work.]
The next question, naturally, is whether this dead zone continues in a full radius around Cair Paradisa, though I think I'd like to rest for a while here before setting out again myself.
