----- Claudia ------
[Now that we're back in the castle... or rather, now that Claudia is here for the first time. He's sitting on the windowsill, looking out over the city for a bit before looking back around their shabby-looking room.]
When the room is to your liking, there are some important matters we must discuss...
------
[Here's that deep, heavily-inflected Italian accent again!]
Salute.
What is modern-day Firenze like? Venezia? Or, for that matter, all of the Italian region? So few of the people I speak to seem to know much about it, yet in my time, it is one of the richest and most powerful regions in the world.
Paris still had la Notre Dame de Paris, which existed in my time, but I wonder... is the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore still standing? What of Piazza San Marco? Paris is protected by an entire country, while the city-states of Italia have no such defenses.
I imagine people will grow tired of my questions, but I have no patience for books.
