[Peace Patrol Prison]

[There's a visitor casually striding toward the row of prison cells in the Peace Patrol's prison. Not that anyone is currently aware of it. Veiled by an illusion, the visitor passes by each cell, fingers trailing along the bars of the cells. Prisoners can likely hear soft taps echoing from the bars, but the source is ( Read more... )

[ He's surprised, but not by the tap. By the fact that the tap actually startled him. It's been an interesting mix of confusion and relief for him to adjust to the silent cell that the Doctor had constructed especially for him, all the way at the end of the hall.

Leaning back against the white wall, Joshua's surprise settles down into impish curiosity. He always likes a mystery.

Knock knock. ]

Who's there?

[Allowing for a few moments of surprise just for the suspense. What's a good mystery without a little suspense, after all? Then, a voice is spoken. Only he hears it for now.]

Celo.

[ More surprise, but it's gone as quickly as before. He's smiling again, though it seems he's only energized by his curiosity. He really has seen better days, health-wise.

Shifting from where he'd been sitting on his bed, he tosses aside the magazine. Still, he's wary. Joshua knows he has fits... Someone could have heard him say the name accidentally. ]

Prove it.

[There's a light scoff. Proof?]

You gave me that name. Or are we switching back to "Ivana" now?

THE AFTERMATH deceptorius November 21 2011, 01:22:42 UTC
[By now, every siren and bell is blaring at full blast. It sounds as if there is quite a scene in the prison. There's no way anyone wouldn't be able to hear it.

However, it seems there's no sign of forced entry, and nothing seems out of the ordinary at first. Aside from a missing guard, everything is as it should be. A quick sweep of the cells will show that all prisoners are accounted for--wait, hold on a moment.

The glass cell at the end of the hall should hold one Joshua Christopher. Instead, anyone is welcome to find a very, very unhappy Maladict behind the glass.

Someone let her out?]

[Oh, cell sweet cell. Tesla had been put back here around a couple weeks ago, and for the most part, everything was same old, same old. But at least it wasn't as boring this time around, considering Maladict was around for a quick chat whenever he wanted to.]

[He's just lounging in his cell when he hears the commotion, and goes to look out the glass. Was that...Joshua? And Maladict was arguing with him and...]

[Well, that was unexpected. There must be somebody there to cast a wind like that...Joshua is gone, and Tesla watches, trying to see the person who is now fighting with his girlfriend. And he does! He recognized her- he talked with her once or twice. But why her...?]

What's going on...

[And as he wonders why she's here doing this, he proceeds to watch as Maladict gets blown away into the cell.]

H-Hey!

[The nerve of that woman! Beating up Maladict like that. Don't mind him, he'll just be glaring in the general direction where he thinks that person left as the alarms sound all around, trying to see if Maladict is coming to ( ... )

[There's silence for quite a while, but eventually there's a lot of swearing in Borogravian coming from Joshua's cell.

Yup. Mal is not a happy vampire at all. You Peace Patrol folks better let her out soon. After all, the longer she's deprived of coffee greatly increases her ire]

Maladict?

[That's her, all right. Not that he understands exactly what she's swearing, but he gets the feeling behind it. He would do the same in her situation. He raises his voice, hoping that she can hear him.]

...I'm guessing you're not faring too well over there. Are you okay?
