[Having finally having had a chance to speak with Fred about his plans for Cerebro, Charles figures it's high time he spoke with his other potential assistants. He knows it's a big project, but it'll be well worth everyone's time in the long run. Sitting out on the roof, Charles clears his throat a moment, before writing a filter into his journal.]

There was a time when the towers weren't part of the castle, correct? It could be that it expands or shrinks depending on how many people live here.

I wouldn't know. The castle's elevators used to not go up quite that far, so I never had the chance to investigate those parts of the castle. That's an interesting theory though, given the nature of the magical force governing the castle, it makes sense.

There are many rooms in the castle that didn't used to exist, if the records in the journal are true.

So the castle seems to scale itself up as more people fill it. That makes sense, though it doesn't explain why we were all forced out onto the grounds during this particular remodel. Perhaps something else happened that we've yet to discover?

It's very possible. Only time will tell for sure.

Indeed. Whether for good or for ill, I suppose we'll find out either way.
