[there's a faintly approving kind of "snrk." Mentions of justice and punishment still manage to elicit some kind of reaction from her]

Hey, for all you know, someone might be inspired enough to. That is, assuming they spent the effort to read through everything.

Why read? The journal can dictate it all out loud. In different voices!

[ she expects few will read (or listen) to all of this, and yet -- it felt good to write this out. not smart, probably, but that anger... ]

And you're okay with having your... [tl;dring] work turning into an object of entertainment.

If I didn't write for fear of that, I'd really be silent.

Aw, what courage. Maybe I should make a recording just for you.

If you'd like. I don't think that offer has been made before.

[it was a joke... :') albeit a rather dumb one. might as well follow through to the end now]

Right then. Who should I address it to?

[ hahaha to the bitter (amusing) end! ]

Let's be nice and inclusive. "To Whom this May Concern."

... I don't think the other residents would want to listen to all that for a second time.

Haah... [read: "what have I unwittingly signed up for"] And political.

Politics -- yeah. It is. I guess it always has been. I don't know if the city will care, one way or another. We're both ancient history and the present to everyone there.

It's creepy, that. Trouble's caused in the city almost regularly, but the natives there stop getting upset with enough time.

[heck, if Witches were in this world, the city would be a prime target]

They die, and they remain dead. Their... souls are taken down, from what I understand, like any resident's, but they aren't resurrected. Their memories are altered to change their perceptions of events and times.

When you know the residents have woken up townsfolk before, it gives you pause. If it was a warning, or something unrelated.
