Guess I haven't really introduced myself properly yet... how should I say this...
I'm Ryotaro Dojima, a... detective with the Inaba PD. --Inaba, Japan.
From the sound of it some of you have been looking after my daughter, Nanako? [a bit of an awkward pause, but then his voice is filled to the brim with sincere warmth:] I can't really thank you

Nanako. [...he gives up trying to think of something better to say and laughs a little to himself] Good morning. [What time is it, really? Does his watch even work here?]

[OH GOD LAUNDRY IS WHAT LADIES DO BUT... crazy magic kidnapping castle mystery or not, he promised himself he'd spend more time with Nanako.]

[Actually, there were a lot of reasons he wanted to go. He's still a little weirded out letting Nanako wander around this place alone, but he's starting to have to admit she's got the hang of this place better than he has.
Mostly, he just... doesn't know what he's supposed to do. The mystery surrounding them, keeping them from their real home, shames him-- as both a detective and a father. He knows a little better than to run off and leave Nanako alone while canvassing every floor of this stupid castle looking for a crook to punch the tar out of, but... old habits die hard.
Maybe it's a good thing Nanako's out right now, though. He could just imagine Nanako imploring him to "stop fighting" with Adachi... and he didn't want to scare her with any heavy talk about the obvious mass kidnapping case they were wrapped up in.
But whenever Nanako gets back, she might find her dad anxiously loitering just outside their door waiting for her, like a big smoking mother hen.]
