[Spike might hear the chime of jewelry, the slap of bare feet through water and the glide of silks through puddles. Ashura looks about him, the tips of his hair wet.]
[There's really only one person he knows who dresses like that on a daily basis, so he could guess before turning around. ... He should probably make up a sign cautioning about wet floors. The ghosts have to mop sometime, right?]
Yeah? [He can't get this door nailed shut fast enough if he's going to have to keep making up stories about it.]
[Hey, it's not his fault his brain-room has a leak in it, it's the stupid castle's.]
I was just about to clean up. [He'll subtly slide over to cover the door, in case there's any temptation to see what's the other side...] How's it going with you?
Well enough. Had a few scares recently, but nothing over traumatic.
[At least, not for himself, though Felix...
He looked down, holding his hand out and letting fire bloom. It lowered down near the water, steam rising as the heat worked away the water and attempted to dry the hall.]
[Spike nods in understanding without asking what it was. He's never one to ask about anything personal unless it's offered to him, and he's a lousy confidant. Odds were it had something to do with the creepy rooms.
The fire thing only makes him visibly uncomfortable for a second, but he doesn't comment on it. Magic like that is normal for Ashura, anyway.]
[Spike mutters out a 'hm' while he watches the fire, almost so grateful for the distraction that he misses how it circled right back around to him. Damn.]
If you can even call it that. Nothing behind there but a flood waiting to happen.
[Which was interesting in and of itself and Ashura did not think that was the whole story. But he shared his bed with a man who was good at avoiding questions and he recognized the tactic when he saw it.]
Where have you been of late? I feel like I have not see you in ages and it saddens me.
Spike?

[He stops behind him, blinking at the water sliding out beneath the door and down the hallway.]

You look like you could use some help.

That's one method I hadn't thought of.

[This would hardly drain his power sources and he considered Spike more and the door that was, he thought, being oh so carefully nailed shut.]
Wanting to keep your thoughts private?

Not here, I just came back to fix the door. [Sure.] I decided to try out camping.

Perhaps I should have spent more time out in the wilderness then.

We built a cabin, if you wanted to stop by sometime.
