[Back in the library once more. Unfortunately, the books lose their appeal once Weiss can't understand them. This is a bit of a problem. With some help from his knowledge of the past, a..bit more (stuff like programming) and a dictionary, he's picking up English fairly quickly. But he decides to test a few things out

Quite. This situation is already confusing and troublesome enough as it is.

Yes. Thankfully, they are less dangerous than one in particular.

I believe most of these are the tongues people in the past spoke. With the exception of horse neighing, obviously.

I imagine that our language must sound just as strange to others.

That is because we are used to it.

No...I can't tell them apart at all.

Perhaps they speak English or Japanese. Those seem to be the more common tongues here.
