[Kasanoda is outside today, looking around for a particular type of tree. He's not sure if Paradisa grows them, but decided to give it a shot. In his pockets, he's carrying a pen, paper, and string. He decides to at least try and be sociable, so he opens the journal and dictates.]
Back home... well, my home, Japan... we have this holiday called Tanabata on the night of July seventh. You write down your wishes and hang them on bamboo leaves. The whole thing is centered around this fairy tale about these lovers... oh, huh, guess I should explain that too. Let's see...
It all took place in space Basically there was this girl named Orihime, and she was a weaver, and really good at it too. So as a reward, her dad had her marry Hikoboshi, a cow herder. They fell in love and played all the time. But they played too much, and stopped doing their work. This made her dad angry, so he separated them across the stars. Orihime cried and was really sad, so the dad said he'd let the two of them meet once a year, on the seventh day of the seventh month. They cross the Milky Way to be together.
It's a pretty girly holiday, but it got me thinking. Does this place... the magic castle, anyway... celebrate holidays?

... And... um, well, while I'm talking about girls, and relationships, and stuff... how do you get over a girl? How do you move on?
[Added on a little later.]
So, uh, if you wanna do the whole wish thing... Alexstrasza is letting
us use her tree.
