[Someday she will not be startled and mildly alarmed when she sees a dragon in the sky. Someday. Her reaction is better than when she first arrived, at least.
But regardless of the mostly-illogical sinking feeling in her gut, that was quite a spectacular display. There is just a kind of awed and cautious staring going on here. From a distance. She’s not going to approach right away, choosing instead to observe for a time before announcing her presence.]
[The dragon seems to settle down, claws crushing down the earth under his feet and his mace-like tail curling around his feet. Bowing his great head, he turns to look in the general direction of Galadriel.]
[Ah, well. She'll assume she's spotted and act appropriately. Meaning she approaches, still keeping a respectful and safe distance, and gives a slight bow.
She's avoiding his eyes, at least until she can get a better read on him. Dragons in her world are known for toying with the minds of elves and men, after all. And as much as she's come to trust Alexstrasza, she doesn't know that he's from the same world.]
[Well that's direct. And goody. She gets to be the first to explain something she doesn't fully understand herself.]
A more difficult question than it seems, I fear, and one that I am ill-equipped to answer.
Both the land and the castle are called Paradisa, that is simple enough, but the nature of this place is far more complex. You will find that none are native to this world- all have been brought here from elsewhere, much as I assume you have.
[He listens intently to her words and then flaps his large wings once, allowing the sand to gather around him and give him a corporeal form once more. Glittering in gold and sand, there are a few green highlights that seems like the erosions of bronze.]
Thisss isss not my world. That I have underssstood. I cannot sssee it, cannot feel it... it isss different.
[She turns her gaze on him for a moment. It's not enough to be invasive-she's too smart to irritate a dragon standing right in front of her-but she is paying careful attention to whatever she may be able to sense from just being in his presence.]
And you are not as the dragons I am most familiar with. [Thank God.] It is not an uncommon circumstance here.
[He seems to zone in at that, trying to make sense of the tangled mess his pristine weave has suddenly become. He tightens his claws around the rock of the cliff, the sand shifting around him again.]
Leave me be... thisss will take lifetimesss to make sssenssse.
[He might act like he did not care, but he heard her words and took them to heart. Whatever magic was responsible for creating this place, he must learn how to cope... until he could return to his own timeline.]

As you wish. [And another little bow] May this world treat you well, or as well as it is wont to treat any.
