[ Kid's managed to track down Death and invite him out for some foodf. With that out of the way, he pulls out his journal and makes a quick filter. ]

I'm going to have dinner with Death. Do you want to come along?

[ After that, he gets ready. Keep it casual. Jeans and a black T-shirt. There may or may not be a skull on the back, too

That sounds quite interesting! I will definitely be there.

[Oh, going out with his weird nonfamily... Quite interesting indeed! He actually pulls out some of the slightly nicer clothing for the occasion (see: anything not his pajamas) and wanders into the restaurant not long after Kid does. It takes a moment of teleporting about the place to figure out where Kid is, but when he does he appears in a seat of his own.]

[Death himself will be arriving shortly after these two are. No one is really sure when he got there or how he made his entrance- maybe he was there all along. Either way, he will be moving to sit in the chair at their table]

It's no problem. I just wanted to get a chance to spend some time with you before we left this island. [ Kid gives a reassuring smile.

....And then he quickly moves the menus on the table so that they lie more symmetrically. ]

[Peering down at the menus curiously once they've been rearranged. He doesn't honestly see much difference.]

That is true, is it not..? I suppose you will not actually be returning to the Castle with us. [And he turns his head in Death's direction.] Unless that is not the case?

FOR NOW MY PLACE IS HERE. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN I WON'T BE THERE IN SOME FORM AT YOUR CASTLE.

[ sorry guys Kid is rearranging the salt and pepper shakers, the ketchup bottles, and anything else on the table....

after a minute, he finishes, and looks at his masterpiece ]

Ah~! It's done!

If you are able to come there with this particular form, you should make an attempt to visit us. I would not at all mind having you within my jurisdiction, of course; you have been kind enough to allow me within yours. [The islands being that jurisdiction, of course.

But he glances over at Kid and his.... creation... would they be able to put their plates on the table like that?]

[He pays no mind to Kid's antics. Just writing it off as him being an oddball]

Ah, yes, I think I'd like it if you could visit as well.

I cannot say that the Castle is much better for it, in all honesty; an alarmingly small amount of people have actually died since I've arrived there... Though depending on the state of this place under normal circumstances, it may yet be better for that.

[but hey, if someone else was around that could actually see what he couldn't now, it would be pretty great.]

[He'll open the menu to look at what there is to order. An odd gesture, considering he lacks a digestive system]

[ Seeing as how Kid's father has no problems eating, that doesn't even give Kid pause. Instead, he also picks up a menu and looks over the choices....

Hey, does this thing cost 8 dollars? (Or whatever currency they use here?) He NEEDS to get that. ]

It would likely be best if you did not tell the residents that you were capable of coming and going, of course. I doubt they would take such a thing well. [Peering over at the menu that Death has picked up. It's a shame you don't exactly have eyes, bro, or he could try to figure out just what you're trying to order. ...if he squinted a few different ways. Maybe. But after a moment he looks away to pick up his own menu.... and immediately goes to the dessert menu. *A* All the tasty sounding things...]

THEY RARELY SEE ME COMING.

[He'll finally choose for himself a pie along with some tea before shutting his menu]

[ Kid, meanwhile, is trying to flag down a waiter or waitress. HE NEEDS TO HAVE THIS THING WHICH IS EXACTLY EIGHT DO-

wait. WAIT. WHAT ABOUT TAXES!?

THAT WOULD MAKE IT MORE THAN EIGHT DOLLARS! (or whatever the currency is)

A little blood leaks from Kid's mouth. ]

[Pharos decides on something mentioning chocolate and sets his menu back down on the table - likely not nearly in the symmetrical manner that Kid had it.

But he lifts a hand, pointing to his own mouth.]

...I believe you may be becoming upset again, Kid.
