[ That had been.... an interesting loss. She supposed that was the best way to explain it.
She hadn't participated in a slaughter of that magnitude in... at least a century. And it had never been against people who couldn't defend themselves. Not since the first time...
Still, she was a villain. These were feelings--guilt, anguish-- that she had come to terms with long before. Murder was never acceptable, no matter what the reason, so she had always been a murderer. She wasn't angry, worried, or saddened by her own inclusion in the loss. It was the fact that others had been which worried her. Abel knew what it was like, but he had also softened over the years. And the others.... weren't monsters.
This was the world she didn't want others to have to see. Forcing others to make difficult decisions was one thing, to drag them into the mud, but this was akin to breaking a person, staining their hands so red that they would never come clean.
She decided to make a few filters. ]

Are you even awake yet? [ She had slept pretty long herself, but Abel slept longer than she did. He slept through more, too. ] I only have one thing to say to you.
If you try any of that self-sacrificing "Oh no I'm a horrible person because the castle messed with my head" shit, I'm going to freeze you solid for at least a year.
And don't think that I won't.
Also... [ LONG PAUSE /tsuns forever ] ....let me know if you're all right. If you need somebody to talk to.... [ TRAILS OFF.... yeah, whatever, he knows what she means ]

I didn't know any of you before this.... loss. But I can assume that most of you aren't monsters like I am.

If anybody has any problems with what we did on that "vampire"... loss.... than bring it up with me.
I can assure you that I'm the one that did the most damage, and I'm the only one who remains both a vampire and a villain. If anybody deserves your scorn and ire, then it's me. Leave them out of it.
And if any of you want to try pulling off some sort of bloody revenge plot on them, I'll stop you myself.
