[Written in ink in Japanese.] Hello. Can I have a word?
[Written in paint.] Hello. Can I have a word?
[Written in lemon juice, invisibly.] Hello. Can I have a word?
[Traced out carefully, in her own blood from a pricked finger.] Hello. Can I have a word?
[Zexion]
[Dictated.]
Hi there.
I don't know when you'll be reading this, or even if you are right now I guess... and I know you probably don't forget, but I wanted to remind you that there are still people around here waiting on you and hanging on your every word, eheh.
Of course I'm always interested in what you have to say, now... but more than that, I just wanted to make sure you're still in one piece, I guess. I suppose I'll find out in your next entry if you don't respond now, and who knows, you could be in deep trouble at this very moment and I'd have no way of knowing. But I'm doing this anyway. It's frivolous, I suppose.
Have you used any of that stuff I gave you yet? Have the outsiders been giving you any problems? How often do you run into them, anyway? Sometimes when I'm out in the dead zone, I wish I'd run across, like... some Giovani or something. Even if they wouldn't be very friendly, I want to see them and maybe talk to them a little. It's sad we're so isolated really, here in the castle, when there's people out there living...
I wonder if you get lonely sometimes. I know you'd probably say you didn't or that it didn't matter, but you know, it does, I think! [A pause.] I never knew how much you knew about surviving out in the wilderness. I bet I couldn't survive out there like you can, since you've been gone this long and never really needed to come back to the castle...
What I'd really hope is that you could come back someday, and that everyone could come and go freely from the castle to the outside world. Wouldn't that be for the best? We could all be wanderers...
Just because right now, like this, it's kind of a pain. Worrying, you know...
[A longer pause.]
I kinda wish I could tell you more stuff. It's just I'm still not sure how much to trust a lot of people here. You included, I guess you probably guessed. And a some of the people who are important to me, I don't trust, maybe? Which is probably a recipe for disaster...
But I do have friends I can trust, and I know that. And I keep busy. I just miss you. So I hope you're okay, and that you can talk to us again soon.
[Breath of Earth]
If you're seeing this filter, it's because you're Sakura, or because you fit the bill I filtered to. My name is Asano Rin, and currently I'm running a small gardening store in town called Breath of Earth, started by a former resident named Aeris.
Well, most of the original staff is gone by now, so I'm looking for some new people to round us out. It's not very difficult work, but I'd just like to get some more castle people on staff; right now it's mostly townspeople, but... you know how they are with us, and we could take more people, and honestly I'd like some company.
So, sound off if you're interested.
[telepaths]
Hi. I have a proposal for anyone who can see this filter, involving exploration, information gathering, and the outside world.
[Tony Stark]
Hi. Have you got a moment?
[Billy]
Are you still inclined to get out of here?
[friends]
How are you guys doing?
[A little sigh, after all of that.]
Here's a riddle for you: who has a house too small for guests?
