I agree with this sentiment. Our thoughts should be focused on believing the children will indeed be recovered and that this entity is utterly defeatable; no match for an entire castle of people united in one purpose.

Possibly? There's some evidence to suggest that is the case. And this is a world of magic and wishes, if you think about it.

But think about it. This thing appeared out of nowhere and started grabbing kids before we even knew it existed.

If it was really fueled by our fear, wouldn't someone have to start talking about it first?
