This is going to take up a lot of room. But to make sure I haven't forgotten anything, it's best to start at the beginning...
I grew up in Kalay, under the care of Lord Hammet and Lady Layana. I remember them, at least... But they're not technically my parents. I was born in Contigo and given to them in order to fulfill a prophecy. It's because of that prophecy that my dad - my adoptive father - was able to get a foothold in the silk trade before anyone else. He founded Kalay, and that's where I grew up.
I have a sister... I don't know much about her. I only recently found out she even existed, although I'd met her before that. Her name is Hama. I know that she's much more powerful than I am, as an Adept. She taught me how to reveal things beyond sight, and told me I might one day become a prophet like her... I don't know about that, but...

I wonder if I'll really have to go through my whole life before I figure it out. I'll pick this up later

[In trying to figure out what his loss is, Ivan has decided to go practice his Psynergy in a place free(?) of prying eyes or innocent bystanders. At Sora's suggestion, he's gone out to somewhere in the forest, where he's presently hurling high-powered lightning bolts and wind gusts at various unfortunate rocks and vegetation. It may seem random but he's actually got kind of a system going.
