Oh, no, it works just fine. It just opens it up so all of us can see it. The filter would also include all those who are doctors, not just those of us who are The Doctor.

If you want to be more specific, start by narrowing it to The Doctor. If you want to be even more specific, just include which one of us you mean. Some refer to us by number, some have nicknames, either works.

When the castle brings you here, it takes something from you. Something important. Like... a special memento, or the ability to do something you like, or the memory of somebody you love. That's what we call a "permanent loss." Everyone here has one.

Temporary losses are a little bit different.
