[as the son of Death, he's had his dealing with dignitaries before, so he offers a polite bow, though not as low as one might expect- that would simply be below his station
the feeling in the air isn't going away, though, so he's still tensed as he does so]
[ is definitely standing, but certainly not BOWING. mostly because he's on edge and ready to pull out his guns if this 'Queen' turns out not to be so friendly ]
THE QUEEN'S ARRIVALtoscribbleJune 20 2010, 00:55:48 UTC
[The spiders skittering about in the room all seem to freeze as footsteps approach from the inner chambers of the monument.
A somewhat petite figure approaches from the shadows -- a somewhat plain human teenage girl. Her brown hair is bobbed in a somewhat outdated hairstyle, and she sports an immaculate, but simple, white cotton dress.
She walks gracefully to the front of the throne, curtsying to all the Travelers with a warm smile, and sits in the throne.]
[He'll wait until she sits before rising from his bow, keep his expression flat. A...regular girl? With half spider-human children? That's...Disgusting]
THE QUEEN'S SPEECH; 1/2toscribbleJune 20 2010, 01:14:15 UTC
[She folds her hands in her lap neatly as she seems to relax in her throne. She's smiling brightly, looking over the crowd as if evaluating them.]
Good evening, Travelers. I'm so happy you've come to see me!
[She giggles childishly, swinging her legs back and forth]
I'm sure you've heard about the monsters that threaten to disturb the peace that we have tried to hard to uphold for the last hundred years. I cannot express my gratitude enough, for all the trouble you must have gone through to get here. I am sure you have many questions about what we will face together, and perhaps about this world. I will be happy to answer all of these questions for you, to the best of my ability. This world holds enough wonder to last any good explorer a millennium.
For tonight, however, I would like to host a celebration, in honor of our new-found camaraderie.
[She moves to stand, from the throne.]
I have prepared a feast for you all tonight, if you would be so kind as to accept my hospitality.
THE QUEEN'S SPEECH; 2/2toscribbleJune 20 2010, 01:15:00 UTC
[Her smile is suddenly wider, more threatening. She takes a few steps away from the throne, and within seconds all of the spiders in the room have circled around her legs.
She giggles as her body rises into the air, her dress replaced by cobwebs. A heart-shaped hole appears right through her chest, and eight large spider legs protrude from underneath her. She lets out another high pitched giggle, now looking down from a good five or six feet in the air.]
[no words, no hesitating here. Sylvanas is taking her position, taking an arrow in between her fingers and pulling that bowstring back. as excellent a shot as she is, you know that point aimed in between her eyes is going to damn close! she fires, not intending to stop her barrage of arrows.]
[And that's when Sora will charge. He is a dorky shonen hero, but he knows to aim for the biggest part. Will be running towards the torso, in an area without gunfire because he is that smart at least D|]
