[Dictated in clipped British tones.]

I have assumed responsibility for the library, and wish to hire assistants. If you are interested in literacy, and have a good respect for the written word then please apply.

The applicant for my personal assistant must be fluent in English.

I'll pass mi amigo, but I'll come by some time. See you in your natural habitat.

I hope to use the library as a primary base for Angel Investigations, so you should become quite familiar with it.

I'm used to seeing you in a library. Me? I'm more of a spotlight kinda guy.

You know the books bring me out in hives.

I'll make sure to have some hive-treatment ointment waiting for you then.

[that would be a good way to keep an eye on things there...]

Would physical age or size have any relevancy to being hired? ...and I do not necessarily need it, but for curiosity's sake, would being "hired" imply payment?

Physical size would not be a hinderance, but a small child should not be working in a library - some heavy lifting of books may be required and a child may injure themselves.

A small renumeration will be offered, but nothing substantial.

In that case, if you do not mind me, I can certainly help; it may take some time, as I cannot lift heavy things at all, but you do not need to worry about my being injured while working either.

Of course, should you feel the need, whatever remuneration I would be receiving could be lessened as you see fit because of that.

I see. How old are you?

Assumed responsibility?

paidthepryce May 30 2010, 21:15:23 UTC
After asking, nobody seemed in charge of the library, so I have taken it under my jurisdiction.

[is nosy and read over the conversation with Lorne and him]

You know, you could just use the Angel Investigations office that Angel opened when he was here. It probably has two inches of dust on everything and maybe some stray cats... but it is still set up.

[A small sigh, why couldn't she have told him this sooner? Honestly, between her and Harmony...]

Where is it?

finesse_bottom May 30 2010, 21:53:13 UTC
[no one asked her? Anya's been here the longest, so really... she knows these things, plus so far none of the newest people she knows seemed to actually trust her]

In the city. [here's a map to where the small office is at, which is a small little building in the arts district] Here.

Thank you.

[A pause, he remembers hearing bits and pieces filtered through the phone friendship Willow and Fred had struck up about Anya's reformation - although he had been present for the beginnings of it himself.]

Perhaps you would care to join us, Anya? I'm sure you have skills to bring to the table.

Awww! I already got a job, Wes!

I wish I had known you were going to be looking though. [not that she's big into the library...]

I know! Right! [heavy sigh]

I mean, you hand picked me for Angel before and you know I can totally do good work, too.

There was a girl, Joan she was an office manager, but I haven't seen her recently. [huh... which makes Harmony curious] I don't know anyoe else that might help. Cordelia has a job already, too. I mean, not that she's a secretary anymore.

I'm quite sure we'll manage.

[Oh god, please don't let her volunteer. Please.]
