You want to stay?

Maybe I do. Maybe I don't. It's just a question.

Seems like you're intent on staying here.

As for an answer, I don't have one. I haven't been here long.

And you don't have similar questions?

...would something like that be possible? People say that time flows differently here, and that it returns everyone to the point that they left, but people arrive from different time periods in the same world quite often. But for time to continue on, it would not imply that everyone is returned to their own world at some point?

There are plenty here who are dead, aren't there? It doesn't sound as simple as that.

The dead cannot be kept in a single place for very long. Whether they returned to their world at some point or not, the castle would need to loosen it's hold on them eventually. I do not believe it would have a choice in the matter.

And what do you know about the dead?

[fsdglkha can...recognize this handwriting from that time they wrote to each other and admin forms and stuff. She kind of knows the "why" behind the question, but do you want to miss your pay for those few moments you get to show up? she is going to make this her business anyway]

Unlikely. Let me know if you do find out.

Is that a request or an order?

Which would you prefer?

...I'll let you know.

But I think anything's possible. The only problem is that everyone's looking for a way out, so it's no surprise if they haven't discovered a way to stay. That doesn't mean there isn't one.

[dictated back]

If I knew, I'd be doing it. The only trend I know of is that people who are really quiet tend to go a lot more often than people who get themselves involved, make connections with other people, that sort of thing.

So it has a habit of keeping the people who it deems useful.

Guess you could say that, but its criteria for "useful" sure isn't anything we've really been able to pinpoint.

But there are patterns.
