Hmm. I can see through the fog with special vision. I could take a look.

By all means. The more we know about it, the better.

I'll head down and check it out, then.

All right. Don't get careless. [If you were anyone else, Clark, he'd be telling you to wait until we have more information. But...if it can hurt Superman, we'll know we're all boned anyway.]

You don't have any other details?

I'm afraid not; that's my only source of information so far, that's why I'm asking here.

Great.

Something tells me this is going to be so fun. [Dry sarcasm at your service.]

An unknown enemy and no visibility? How could it be anything else? [yay sarcasm]

Clark's going to check it out. If he can't stop it, we should start drawing up evacuation plans.

"Crooked one on the mound", eh.... Wasn't that one destroyed by Saint Patrick's hammer?

You know something about this creature?

In some older literature, a pagan god destroyed by St. Patrick's mighty Christian hammer is mentioned. [such sarcasm. SUCH. SARCASM.] "Crooked one on the mound" is one term used to refer to the god- I forget what it was actually named.

However, I don't know what that has to do with this. Gods generally need worshipers, no?

The castle often seems fond of Earth and its history. I wouldn't be surprised if it had brought such a being here, with or without worshippers.

So it requires Christian weaponry to defeat it? Or would light-based energies in general work?

After what happened in the Dead Zone, hearing about a fog and some kind of creature roaming around sounds like a bad combination.

[ye~ah he's not far enough along in his monster hunting training to brave this]

I agree. Do you have any information more useful than commentary on how dangerous it seems, or should I ignore you?

Has someone found out if it's like the thing we saw in the Dead Zone?

Not for certain, but this person [arrow up to Alucard's thread] seems to think it's an ancient pagan god from Earth.
