It's an interval program designed to help sedentary people work slowly into running a 5k. I originally started it about a year ago and have "fallen off the wagon" (as it were) twice now. :\ I would really like to finish it... and until school started last quarter was doing well. Then studying kinda got in the way and well, here I am.
2) It hadn't occurred to me to contact the head of the PE department or someone in administration about changing the verbiage. :S It ought to have been the first thing that came to mind, but I was so lost in thought about how my comfy coping mechanism has become a hindrance that the concept slipped my attention. (I get that way sometimes... loosing sight of the forest for the trees. Yet another thing I need to work on. ;) )
Thank you! I don't get to write as often as I once did (goodness, back in the day I was quite prolific on here) but I do like to post here periodically... especially now that the whole of my energy isn't spent on work or recharging from work!
