i am never ever ever attempting to make grits in the microwave again. EVER.
*is typing one-handed while the other hand clutches an ice pack*
while trying to clean overflow off the bowl it slipped and dumped MOLTEN HOT, CLINGY GRITS onto both of my hands. i'm currently waiting for the pain to subside enough that i can try again to do what i'd wanted to do, which was, quite simply, make something for lunch.
