dorkiness achieved!
i went out today and got vintage Chinese aviator goggles...
to wear to work, since we'll be getting eggnog in soon, and steaming eggnog often means chipping it off my glasses at the end of my shift. steaming eggnog SUCKS. it's so thick it sprays rather than foams a lot of the time, and steaming it properly sounds like planes coming in to land.
my very own actual 'Nog Goggles! buwahahahahahah!
they need new lenses, though, so i'll be calling TapPlastics in the morning to ask if they can do such a thing and what the cost might potentially be. there's 4 lenses -- the two front/main ones, and one on each side, for peripheral vision. if it's not too too expensive, i might spring for a second set in amber or gray transparent acrylic/plastic/whatever they end up being made from.
