gah update
so i guess i should update....
whats new?
went to new york city for the day last week for work. ive discovered that doing a round trip in one day isnt that much fun. but i did get to go shopping on 5th Avenue. I absolutely love the boutiques in new york. everything is so unique. i got a few tank tops, a fn t-shirt (everyone loves an irish girl) and a really cute skirt. i really missed new york. its been nearly two years since ive been back. i missed everything about it. the sounds, the smell of hot dog vendors on the corner, the people.its so amazing. i am in love with the pace of that place.
moving on...
i started packing this weekend. i know it seems like i have plenty of time with about a month before i move out, but i know that it ends up that i really only have the weekends (working 45 hours a week gets in the way). with only the weekends, that really just leaves me with only a few days. brittany and i had a long talk about all of the shit between us. it didnt solve anything and actually, in the end, i ended up being the bad guy despite being the one thats been screwed over and hurt as much as i have. she really hides her self-centeredness well.
i hung out with kurt last weekend. it was really good to see him. i wish i had had more time and coherence to talk to him. ill have to try to meet up with him again soon. i hung out with tyler friday. he says jimmys coming down soon. that should be interesting. i dont really know what to do with all of that. im just not going to think about it for now.
oh, and i had made a bet with a friend at work and won! he bet me that one of my bags that i took to chicago would pass as carry on. i said it wouldnt. he bet me dinner on it. i won. the bag had to be checked. so i got a $50 gift card to the back bay restaurant group (its a group of about 6 restaurants all over the city and surrounding area). im so excited. i never win anything. so now i dont know who to go with. if i can get ahold of kurt ill take him to make up the lunch date that got cancelled. but i could always take someone else. leave one if you really want to go. haha.
