so how was your interview you might ask? fucking awesome thank you.
i got there about half an hour early (its an hour drive so i left early to make sure i had time but i left too early). so anyway i go there and the woman at the front desk let him know i was there.
the very first thing he does is tell me that he really wants me to work for him. so now im employed by meadowmere resort in ogunquit. i have access to the pools, health spa, sauna all for free and the tanning booth is only 2 dollars for employees. im pumped. im going to be working in the pub and dinner for breakfast and dinner. i make tips in the morning and i get payed for working during the lunch hours. i have to run around from all the different patios and the outdoor pool and get people drinks from the bar. i guess im going to make some good money this summer so im so pumped. i start training next week or so and then the resort opens memorial day weekend officially. weee!! yay for me!
oh, and you have 24 hours to call me or im going to completely give up. you know ive called you now and that i need to speak to you...so call. i dont want to deal with another laura and like i said before, i refuse to. and if this is how our friendship is going to be then i dont want to do it. i refuse to take the backseat in your world because some new friend has walked in. you seem to be forgetting that this is the last time i will be home for any real length of time. from september on, im only home for thanksgiving and christmas breaks. and i plan on moving to boston permanently after sophomore year. your time with me will run very thin so if im at all important to you, it would be wise to step up to the plate and act like it.
