twilight ramblings
o shit Nina Myers is gonna be in Twilight. XD
As Renée. o___o I would've preferred her as Esme to be honest... Although she's not gonna have a very big role... +10 to anticipation. Ha ha.
Oh yeah... speaking of Twilight. I finished the last book (Breaking Dawn) today. Overall... I kinda like it. Kinda. I think the author has some pretty good groundwork and ideas. As far as her writing goes though... I just don't know. It's good for a mindless read. The first one was definitely the best one.
My ratings on a scale of 10 (10 being the best and 1 being atrocious):
Twilight - 7.5
New Moon - 4 (This one just really pissed me off x___x I don't think it should've even been written)
Eclipse - 7
Breaking Dawn - 6.5
The main character (Bella) is really whiny and gets into trouble a lot. The other main character (Edward) is kinda stalkerish and overprotective. They don't change much even by the time book 4 rolls around. Sometimes the characters act contrary to how the author originally set them up. Or maybe I'm just biased. I don't know. The main character is mostly helpless and requires constant rescuing. In the second book, she purposely sets herself up for bad situations. x___x Just... wtf. Book 2 was seriously a trainwreck.
I just don't know. But overall it was entertaining enough... I think I kinda just glossed over the really bad parts. :P LOL
Here's to hoping the movie is going to be a helluva lot better. And that they won't make a movie for book 2 (unless they decide to make some major changes).
