Our matron lady of the house passed on last night. Helper was 18 years old, and she lived a good life. One of the worst things I've ever had to do was explain this to Lydia. There have been many tears today, and many questions, and not all of them I can answer. We said goodbye tonight, and laid her to rest wrapped in her blanket, damp from our tears and the rain that had threatened all day. Even the Earth cried today.
