Well hahahaha. I will never put off going to the doctor again.
Got there this morning, waited, got inspected, watched the doctors face contort into a horrified look as she inspected my left ear, got a scrip for numbing ear drops and some samples of an antibiotic. Went home and sent Jeff off to work, ate and then took my scrip to CVS and took wee butt to BK. Left BK and on the way to pick up my scrip I felt a pop in my left ear and a gush of fluid draining down my throat. Oh, ow!, oh wait, the pressure's gone. Cool.
Wait, why does "Hey there Delilah" sound funny? Hmmm. Get scrip, go home. Hey, why does Lydia sound like she's talking through a tin can? Call Jeff, he sounds fine, ok, get Lydia ready for bed go to her room where the music is playing....Celtic lullibies sound like they have been redone by a daemonic monkey on crack. WTF? This aint right! Lay Lydia down, call the doctor. Doctor says "get back here". Call Jeff, Jeff comes home, I go back to the doctor.
Oh hey! Well lookie there! You have a hole in your ear drum! Dont use those drops I prescribes, they might make your brain explode haha. Think brain is going to explode anyways, pick up some wine on the way home and prepare to drown sorrows. If I am going to listen to everything as a drunk person, shouldnt I be one? HA. No, seriously, I wont get drunk but a glass or two will help take the edge off.
Now I get to spend who knows how long with annoying as fuck daemonic crack monkey music, and every female who speaks to me sounds like a computerized Borg Queen with an echo. *sigh* And I get to hear Jeff say "I tooooold you to go to the doctor!" His voice may not be tinny but I still want him to stfu.
Add to that the fact that Lydia has decided today is the perfect day to show how much of an attitude she can get and now its in echostereo? Bwahahahahah! Fuck you Gypsies, where ever you are :P
