Oops, sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you, I've been running around a bit in a wild whirl of busy-ness the last few weeks, and your post managed to slip through my radar!
My Dad has a small Mac shop in Midland (called Macs-4-U) which is an authorised reseller and fixes up old macs as well as selling new ones, and has a little internet cafe in the corner. They're looking for someone (almost full-time) to sell stuff on the floor...basically, everyone who works there wants to be out the back being a technician fixing stuff and there's no one who is really keen/happy to stay out the front chatting to customers and keeping an eye on the shop as the main bit of their job, so Dad's looking to hire someone for out the front. A good knowledge of Macs (to be able to answer customers' questions) would be a plus. The shop's open afternoons (I forget whether it's 10-6 or 12-6) Tues-Sat.
