(no subject)
Summary of a paperishcup on this late Friday night:
The Good
~ After work tomorrow heading briefly to my friend Lauren's birthday Mad Hatter's Tea Party, and I have the most awesome teapot to give her as a birthday present. I am excited about both of these things.
The Bad
~ Very tired after looong day (left for work at 6.30am and just got home now from rehearsals which I went to straight after work, and I'm starting work at the same time again tomorrow..)..and...my bed just broke. I sat on it and it...broke.* This makes tumbling into bed, which I would like to be doing right now, somewhat problematic.
The Ugly (??)
~ There are two women who lecture in hair and makeup training at TAFE who were interested in doing hair and makeup design for Joe's play, to which he delightedly said yes as it's sure to look better than all of us just doing our own. They came to meet us tonight...and informed us in no uncertain terms that they want the entire to cast to dye their hair blue-black.**
Right now I know not if this is fun or awful...at the moment I just find it hilarious.
Paul is even dyeing his BEARD.
Hilarious!
And verily I and my friends in one fell swoop shall become emo overnight...
And on that note.. buenas noches mis amigos.
* It is not dead forever. The side fell off the headboard, which was suitably dramatic, but all I need to do is screw it back together...unfortunately all my tools are at the Blue Room..
** Semi-permanent very dark brown is apparently acceptable for the people with friends who may not want Gothic Bridesmaids. This is good.
