it is truly sickening that you can be "broke" on $60 thousand a year in this city.
i mean, i'm broke
currently $700-a-month broke
but i'm a high-functioning broke.
i have fun, and friends, and activities, and the occasional beer.
and i eat well.
i have everything i truly need, except for maybe health insurance.
what these people suffer from is ridiculous priorities.
like the girl who gives up actual food for her bumble and bumble shampoo: “I don’t do drugstores,” she said. “I will eat Pringles for dinner instead.”
