(no subject)
so i'm back in town, almost a week now. i'd gotten another job that was supposed to start, upstate, a few days ago. then it got pushed back.
been staying at tom's and they're not exactly equipped for living there. they haven't had the gas turned on in the three months they've lived there (but tom brought back a prop hotplate), and internet only in one guy's room.
and now i've found out that the upstate project i was waiting on has been cancelled. i'm not actually that surprised, and i'm kind of glad. it didn't seem like they have their shit together and i'd much rather be home for a couple of months and have my life back. now i can have halloween, and go to the wrap party for the movie we just finished, and sleep in my own bed. only problem is there's someone sleeping in my bed right now. i'd told subletter leyla that i'd gotten another job and she could stay another month. i was only going to be in town for three days, and then a week, so i'd just stay at tom's and be gone again. but now...guess i've got to talk to her about that.
glad i didn't put my whole life on hold for it though...i've got a job for tomorrow that seems very promising.
and i'm going to be around for a while! won't miss out on everything now.
