what will bring me home
guess i've had a pretty great two weeks off
they've gone by fast though
first was in rhode island and second, here in the city, was spent doing late-nite summery things with the girls (monday was drunken hipster karaeoke and more fun than i've had in a long time, tuesday was movies in the park and a quick drink in williamsburg)
days have been spent eating (the csa is giving me fresh local fruit and vegetables faster than i can cook them), re-reading harry potter and the order of the phoenix, furnishing my apartment for pretty much free, and helping tom and duffy find an apartment
if all goes well, they should be moving into a beautiful 3-br on a great block in crown heights, 20 min from my place, WITH A BACK YARD, possibly as soon as monday
fingers crossed
today it's friday, and i woke up and decided it was time to get onto a slightly more productive track. i sent off a resume or two and took the first steps (requesting stills from directors) for that website i've been saying i was going to put together of my work.
think i'm going to listen to a little more tegan and sara and maybe rearrange the furniture
i've got marinated cucumber salad (and a sesame ginger coleslaw recipe that i made up on the spot last nite for tom and duffy while we watched jesus camp and pee-wee's big adventure), for when i get hungry
zoe's in town from sydney, gonna try to see her tonite
and tomorrow sarah t. will be here? right kim?
