Addendum to dilemma and more.
So, here’s what I’ve decided regarding my last post. The payrate for the new job hasn’t been posted yet, and nearly no one has applied to the job because of it. So I’m going to continue to tweek my resume, and once the new job’s pay is posted, I’ll see if that’s enough for me to want to work 9-5. Since our wages are supposed to go up almost two dollars at the start of next year, and our commission rate is for sure going up, I’ll have to weight that against the pay of said new job. Either way, my resume will be ready, regardless of what I decide. I wanna say thank you to everyone who gave me input. You influenced my decision quite a bit. ;)
In other news, though I never mentioned it, Video Games Live was truly amazing. I’m so glad I got to go. They had the kid from YouTube who played the Mario themes blindfolded, and the orchestra was just perfect. I about passed out when they played an encore of One Winged Angel. Chris really enjoyed it too.
Today, since I stayed home from work sick (and I’m really feeling it now I’ve decided to stay up stupidly late regardless of the fact that I slept for 14 hours today) and decided to watch all of Firefly again. I have decided two things: it is much better than I remembered, and I want Inara to give me a hot lesbian massage. In fact, I want anyone to give me hot massage. I am sore and achy and I hate my bed and can’t afford to buy another one big enough for Chris and I. Not that I can afford much of anything at all, but I certainly can’t afford a new queen-sized bed. I’ve pretty much just been sleeping on the couch as soon as Chris leaves for work each day.
Finally, I changed my layout again, and updated my default picture. My header has proven quite effective the past few days. XD
