...just woke up. :D Well, we woke up at 11:30 (after getting to bed at...eight in the morning?) and I had a horrible migraine so I took a melatonin and some Excedrin and then got really stupid and drowsy and called Jeff and told him I wouldn’t be able to practice ‘cause I was dying and talked to Nik for a while though I started to have a really hard time with the keyboard on my phone. XD So I went back to bed and the kitty laid at my feet until I woke up about an hour ago. I’m feeling a little better, but I’m still kind of throbby behind my eyes, and really woozy. And then I fed the kitty and had some yogurt, and then the cat stuck his head in the yogurt cup and his fur is all crusty, but he seemed happy with the results. I’m trying to cut back on his dairy, though. (See, this is what happens when you have an innate urge to nurture things but hate babies - you treat your friends very well and you get a cat and treat him like an equal.)
So thank you to everyone who left me positive thoughts on Facebook, but right now I think I’m going with Nancy’s misery loves company suggestion. Yeah. But the good news is the congestion I was feeling yesterday is breaking up and now, though I do have a massively runny nose, I’m not all plugged up and disgusting. So that’s good.
And now for something completely different. Is anyone here as big of a font nerd as me? Yes? Please? I’m looking for some new, interesting fonts, and suggestions are always nice. My favorite types are (legible) handwritten types and interesting or otherwise unique serif fonts (the smaller and more fixed width/evenly spaced the better). To give you an idea, my personal favorites are
Rabiohead,
Redstar,
Cheboygan, and
Cipher (though I really only use the latter two if I’m typing up stories or something, which I do do quite often, but I like the handwritten ones for things like AIM/iChat and my Livejournal update program more, since it feels more...I dunno, personal? Plus, it gets kind of hard to sit back and look at a ‘novel’ and have it be in some goofy font that you might as well have just written out on a notebook and cut out the middle man. +laugh+). Oh, and also, they have to have all (or most) of the symbols (@, #, +, ~, etc...). I’m on DaFont constantly, but I always appreciate other’s opinions. :)
Alright. I’m gonna go back to hanging out with my cat, since he’s laying on his back with his tummy exposed and his paws up in the air, which I think is his way of saying, “Mommy didn’t pay enough attention to me, so I died”. Silly little yogurt face.
