A torturous week after a mysterious message was left on YG-Life, what was suspected has been confirmed: 2NE1’s CL and BIG BANG’s G-Dragon are releasing a collaboration album! Another post appeared on YG-Life, confirming the collaboration album by posting a track list.

A Sneak Preview into GDCL’s Concept!
An image has been posted on me2day by 2NE1’s Sandara Park! this time with what looks to be a preview of the new concept! It shows G-Dragon and CL speaking with a photographer (or a stylist?) on a set.
The following message was added as a caption:
“My two dongsaengs working hard, as usual~ Leader-Rin with G-Dragon sunbaenim. Don’t they look so focused and cool? I came to bring them snacks and encouragement, but Seungri was already here! Kyah, I am too late. Still! Leaders, hwaiting!”

Dara threw a glare in Seungri’s direction as soon as she posted her new me2day update. ‘He didn’t even bring snacks with him,’ she thought sulkily. ‘And he’s probably going to bully me in front of the cameras again. I shouldn’t let him know that I’m here or else he-‘
“Noona, you came!” Dara cringed inwardly. She arranged her facial expression into a smile and turned around to greet Jiyong.
“Of course, I would!” she said brightly. “I have to make sure you’re taking care of my leader. We need her, you know.”
“Chaerin’s fine. Seungri’s here, too,” he replied conversationally, pointing to the set. She could see Seungri speaking with Chaerin in front of the cameras. “I’ll let him know you’re here.”
“No wait-“
“Seungri-ah!” he called out. Seungri and Chaerin simultaneously turned to him.
“Don’t-“
“Dara noona is here,” he announced, walking over to them.
“Annyeong,” she said, waving feebly. Seungri moved towards her with a blank expression.
“Noona, thank god you’re here,” he said, muttering under his breath. He stopped next to her, sitting down on a chair nearby. Dara furrowed her eyebrows and sat on the table next to him.
“What? What’s wrong?” she questioned.
“Hyung is being sickening,” he said, mimicking a gagging motion. “He’s being all, ‘Oh, Chaerinnie, I think we should be holding hands for this, it would have more of an artistic impact.’ Or ‘Chaerin-ah, maybe you should throw your legs over my lap.’ It’s gross.”
Dara peered over to the couple in question, who were now sitting on a table back-to-back, with their legs splayed out in front of them. Jiyong was dressed in all black, with the exception of white gloves, while Chaerin was dressed in all white, with the exception of black gloves. The hands that were hanging off the side of the table were entwined loosely and both were facing the camera, moving their heads marginally with each click of the camera. At one point, Chaerin’s cheek rested against Jiyong’s shoulder while his cheek rested against her head.
As the two completed the set of photos for this costume and slipped off the table, Dara shook her head and turned to Seungri. “I see what you-“
Who was no longer there.
“He has another schedule.” Dara’s head whipped around (‘Aish, what is it with people and their sudden comings and goings?’ she thought irritably) to see Chaerin approaching her, fingering off her gloves in the process. “He’s doing a lot of talk shows recently - trying to prove he’s the Talk Master or something.” She rolled her eyes. “More like out to spill everything about YG Family. Sajangnim wants to put a muzzle on him, but everyone loves it. It’s irresponsible, in my opinion.”
“Speaking of irresponsible,” Dara cut in, “what would sajangnim say once he sees these concept photos? Do you want 2NE1 to disband or something?”
“No,” Chaerin replied quickly, shaking her head. “It’s not that. And he knows already. Or… well…” she hesitated. “He told us to make sure this album is a headliner. To make sure people remember that this collaboration happened. He just… didn’t really tell us how to do that.”
“So you’re creating some kind of love scandal or something?” Dara asked, narrowing her eyes. “Chaerin, this isn’t right. You know this-“
“Love scandal?” Chaerin blinked. “What love scandal? We are talking about the concept right? Yin and yang? Angel and devil? I know it might be offensive to some, but… we both agreed that we liked it.”
“Ahh… yeah…” ‘She’s completely clueless,’ Dara thought in disbelief. ‘She really has no idea how they look right now.’
The blonde-haired girl was suddenly pulled away by their stylist. “I have to go change into the next outfit. I’ll see you at home, unnie!” Without waiting for a reply, their stylist whisked Chaerin into the dressing room.
