In dire need of help

Aug 16, 2010 10:40

Well, it's not really DIRE but close enough. I need a book to read! Any suggestions? Feel free to elaborate why ;)

I finished King Leopold's Ghost. It was interesting to say the least. Not a book I will read again. Sad... just sad and true... :(

It is awesome that you suggested this! I have read most of VC Andrews' books :) I'm not sure who is continuing her stories though since she did pass :(

I LOVE YOU!
Just thought I'd throw that in there ♥

Ooooh didn't know you've read her stuff :) I haven't read anything else because all of her books follow the same pattern kinda (I believe it was something like 5 books to a series, first two told in one point of view, second two told in the children's point of view and the fifth basically the prequel told by a grandparent, and they all have some form of incest). I was at one point trying to find another one to read, do you recommend any particular ones? OH and I actually did see the name of her ghost writer at one point, hang on I shall retrieve it. Andrew Neiderman :)

Love you! Miss you :( I miss you being on MSN. I still talk to Chels but I miss you and Sarah tons, we all need to schedule a time for us to catch up or somethin :)

I agree about MSN!! I should be on a little later this week since Chalice is going to be on vacation and it is supposed to rain a lot.

Umm... the last one I ready was Melody I think. I'll have to see if there's more that I have not read.. I am sure there's some lol Mos of the books are alike in some way or 'leak' into each other.

I can suggest "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley, and "The Green Mile" by Stephen King. Also by Stephen King one of my all time favorite books, "Needful Things".

I love all those books so much, read all of them several times and they never get old!

Stephen King is a genius! Love him!

I will see if the library has the Mists of Avalon either tonight or tomorrow ♥ Thanks for the suggestions!

It looks like you've already got plenty of help, but I've been in a reading mood this summer, and right now I'm trying to procrastinate because I should study, so...yeah. Books I can recommend ( ... )
