In dire need of help

Well, it's not really DIRE but close enough. I need a book to read! Any suggestions? Feel free to elaborate why ;)

I finished King Leopold's Ghost. It was interesting to say the least. Not a book I will read again. Sad... just sad and true... :(

It looks like you've already got plenty of help, but I've been in a reading mood this summer, and right now I'm trying to procrastinate because I should study, so...yeah. Books I can recommend.

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield.
Read this in January, and I loved it. It's about a girl writing a biography on a famous author, and I found it very interesting. Err, I would have explained myself better, but I have to go to the bathroom, so my mind is sidetracked.

The House at Riverton by Kate Morton.
This is a bit like The Thirteenth Tale, only I think I liked this one better. It's about two sisters, told through the eyes of a servant girl in their house, and about an incident that happened in the 20s, which resulted in the two sisters never speaking to each other again. I love the historical part of it, the relationship between the characters and the mystery of the incident.

The Inspector Lynley Mysteries by Elizabeth George.
I thought I didn't like crime, but I love the Lynley books as it's not just about the crime, but also about the main characters and their lives. I love how different the two main characters are, and how well they work together.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.
I guess this is technically for kids, or at least youngsters, but I still loved it. It's about a boy, Nobody Owens, who's been raised by ghosts in a graveyard after a man named Jack killed his family. I love all the characters in the graveyard.

I hope you might like some of these, I know I did :)
