Feeling hot hot hot
So This is probably the second real heatwave of this summer. Oh the sweet greenhouse effect. Yesterday was about 28 degrees outside, but 37 with the humidity. Last night, it rain viciously. Thunderstorms and all. It never just rains anymore, it's always thunderstorms and torrential downpour. And, it doesn't necessarily cool things off. It still hella hot today. And, all this crazy rain, washes away parts of my biking trail. There are some place that have become dangerous to ride on since the crazy week of storms about 3 weeks ago.
There's this large tree on the west side of my building that was struck my lighting. I've got a couple pics i can upload later. It sucks for everyone on that side of the building that had the tree as shade.
Today, i surpassed the 500km mark on my bike, within 5 weeks of riding. I've bailed a couple of times. Today, i bailed, totally forgetting that it rained yesterday, and slid down this grass hill. In these 5 weeks, i've had to replace both tubes in my tires, and get new peddles. I think it's time for a tune up as well. My bike shop is so far from here though. I'll get around to it.
My dad's 60th birthday is just around the corner. We are having the party next month. I want to DJ the party, and have been going through all my old vinyl that was given to me by my parents. It brings back memories, and also helps me put a name to a lot of music that i new as a kid.
Those are the things keeping my occupied while i continue to make no progress in the other aspects of my life. MPC gone for sure, and i've got no idea where it went. It's one of those things that if i helped during the move, i would have made 100% that it was here. I did find the CF card that had all my saved projects on it, which is kind of a plus, but i was going to spend a good portion of my summer on my MPC and, well, now i can't. Gotta get ready for work.
