Well, I have been going crazy for the last few weeks with this project. Tomorrow is the mandatory pre-proposal meeting. So far, we have had 9 companies come to campus. I am wondering how many of those 9 will come and how many others will come just so that they are allowed to propose. Purchasing has said that they will not even accept proposals that are late. However, I would like to see a copy of them anyway. Now that we are finished with site visits, we come to the next phase where people will be crawling all over campus and start bombarding me with questions. In the last couple weeks, I have filled nearly 30 requests for materials and only have about 10 left on the list. I am hoping to get those filled by the end of next week.
This is unbelievable, I have absolutely nothing on my calendar at work next week. I have not had an open week in over a year.
On the flip side, I looked online and found a surprise. The school is up for sale again, this time for $68K which is $12K less than the last time. So, if anyone is looking for a small starter home, it's only 17,000 sf on about .75 acres.
