We're in the middle of a kitchen reno here. Ripping several layers of wallpaper and a sheet of formica off the walls left them in pretty rough shape, so I've spent some time spackling, sanding, scraping, priming, and otherwise trying to restore the walls to a decent condition, as they will be painted instead of tiled.
My mission today was to get rid of the dried on adhesive that was under the formica. I sanded it off with 50 grit sandpaper. In the process, I also sanded my fingertips to a lovely scaly texture. Don't worry, it's nothing that a little moisturizer can't fix, but next time: work gloves.
