I feel like this fic is kind of cheating because I haven't seen season 7, so I don't really know where Dean's head is. That's why this one is short and kind of vague--if I stay vague, I don't have to explain anything that I don't know! :P
It was obviously inspired by Misha's picture of Cas in what looked like a mental institution, so I ran with that idea. I was also inspired by the song it's titled after, My List, by the Killers, which is on my Dean/Cas playlist. The lyrics are lovely, and that's really where I want Dean to end up in this verse, being able to say aloud how much he cares about Cas (and I think the line "you should've known by now you were on my list" is so Dean ( ... )

Reaction: This was my first time writing in Charlotte's POV, so I was BEYOND happy that it got third place that week. The prompt that week was "spring," and I have horrible allergies (and was most likely sick that week) so that's of course what first came to my mind. I liked the idea of Charlotte being sick with allergies for so long that she was dying for some excitement, which was why she let Miles hook her up with Sawyer. I think Miles had a larger role in the original draft of the fic (of course, because I love him) but it got cut to get the word count down.
Get lost and then get found: This was for the very last lost_in_108 prompt (it was "flight"), so I really wanted to do an homage to the show and get some closure. I LOVE the group that made it off the island, and I like to think that they all stuck together afterwards. This drabble is them "celebrating" the anniversary of getting off the island by going to the airport and reminiscing. The hardest part to write was this line: ( ... )

Firstly, I do this sort of exercise when I'm in a writing slump (it's the teacher side of me), and this time I lucked out with getting AMAZING random prompts. I didn't limit myself to word counts, so some of the drabbles are a lot shorter/longer than each other. I wanted to just be free to write! This was right in the middle of when I was writing a ridiculous amount of Richard/Miles, lol. So while my original plan was to just make it Lost related, it SOMEHOW became just those boys. I'm honestly surprised that they aren't all shippy. XDD
Some favorites of the bunch:
I’ve been living out of this here suitcase for way too long. I love the idea of Miles being a committment-phobe while Richard is like "If I buy you a toothbrush will you stay over? This is getting ridiculous." It was fun to make Miles just accidentally move in with Richard and forget to tell Sawyer about it. Oh, boys.
