Brendon wore tight jeans that weren’t pulled up all the way and a cheerleading shirt. He ran a hand though his perfect hair.
Ryan watched Brendon walk and sighed. Why did Brendon have to be straight?
A/N: Okay so I wrote this on a whim right after a pep rally at school. So I guess I should thank Paulina for inspiring the Senior Individual. Oh! and maybe student council for giving me the ideas for the saran wrap races. Unfortunately, none of this really happened at the pep rally with the exceptions of the actual race, a senior individual and someone (me) popping the beads off of spirit necklaces (It's so much fun!). Oh! Finally, I have to thank my best friend and editor,
liebe_neu for making sure that this didn't suck as hard as did when I first wrote it. I love that girl. You should all just skip this and read her stuff. There's more of it anyway. Have fun!
Spencer took one look at Ryan and glared. “Where the fuck is your school spirit?” He double-checked that his sisters weren’t listening as he pulled out of Ryan’s driveway. “You know today is purple and green day. You said you’d participate.”
Ryan rolled his eyes at Spencer. “Look at the stripes on my pants and my vest.” Spencer snorted. Ryan hit his leg. “It’s a subtle tribute.”
“Ryan Ross, could you get any gayer?” Spencer asked, stealing Ryan’s fedora then returning it.
The only reason Ryan didn’t roll his eyes was because he’d learned how to not roll his eyes at Spencer. He adjusted his fedora. “Could you get any gayer, Mr. School Spirit? Plus, you’re always all over that Jon Walker guy.”
Spencer turned bright red and ran a hand through his hair. “I am not!” He checked again to make sure his sisters were still absorbed with their iPods. “We’re just in Student Council together, that’s all.”
“Yeah, okay, of course. At least I’ve come out.” Ryan picked at a piece of lint on his pants. “Spencer, you’ve got to admit it one of these days.”
Spencer parked in the student parking lot. “When you kiss Brendon Urie, I’ll come out.”
“Okay, whatever.” Ryan muttered, walking into school.
Brendon Urie was the straightest, most perverted asshole on the cheerleading squad. He was only on the squad so he could touch and hold all the girl cheerleaders. Brendon was also popular and good-looking with the best ass known to man.
Right then he was walking in front of Spencer and Ryan with his best friend, Jon Walker. Jon was also a member of Student Council. He was wearing the green student council shirt, (the standard student council uniform) jeans and purple flip-flops.
Brendon wore tight jeans that weren’t pulled up all the way and a cheerleading shirt. He ran a hand though his perfect hair.
Ryan watched Brendon walk and sighed. Why did Brendon have to be straight? A grimace appeared on Ryan’s face when Spencer elbowed him in the side.
“Stop looking at Brendon’s ass, ‘cause as much as you dream, you’re not going to get it.” Spencer smirked and nudged Ryan again. “I’ll see you in lunch. I’ve got to get to the student council meeting for the pep rally.”
There was a snort from Ryan. He snickered. “You really should tell him.” Ryan made his way to class.

Spencer put away planning sheets and papers from the meeting. He was secretary and HBIC - head bitch in charge - (according to Ryan).
The senior’s pocket buzzed, he unlocked the screen on his Blackberry Storm and read the message from Ryan. “Jesus Fuck. I don’t care! I already know!” Spencer shouted in annoyance.
“Spencer, are you okay?” Jon Walker asked as he walked out of the storage closet with balloons and streamers.
Spencer turned bright red and looked away. “Don’t worry about it.” He sighed, leaning against the table. When Spencer looked up, Jon was right in front of him. Spencer’s heart pounded in his chest when he looked up.
In his opinion, Jon Walker was the only man who could looks as gorgeous as ever with a beard. When his icy eyes connected with Jon’s chocolate, the only thoughts that filled Spencer’s mind were of him and Jon. Dammit, why did Ryan have to be right? “…me.”
“Huh, sorry Jon, I wasn’t paying attention,” Spencer choked out.
Jon chuckled. “Spencer, if something’s wrong, you can tell me.” He leaned a bit closer.
Spencer ducked away and walked across the room, “Well we all know that Ryan Ross, my best friend, is gay, right? Promise not to tell anyone what I’m about to tell you?”
“Swear.”
“Well, Ryan has this huge-ass crush on Brendon Urie and it’s agitating sometimes because I really, really don’t want my friend to get hurt because he has a crush on one of the straightest assholes in this school.” Spencer sunk to the ground and sighed.
Warm fingers brushed Spencer’s as Jon sunk to his level. “You know, I think I can help but you have to promise to trust me, too.”
Spencer nodded and as Jon told him, Spencer’s eyes couldn’t get much bigger.
“I think we need to make a plan,” Spencer said, standing up.

Brendon Urie looked especially gorgeous in white, Ryan decided. He watched Brendon from his spot at a separate lunch table. Again, Ryan sighed dramatically. Brendon had his hand on head cheerleader, Greta Salpeter’s ass. There was a round of laughter at Brendon’s table. Ryan would bet his minimum wage salary that Brendon had either made a perverted joke or torn up some underclassmen.
Ryan looked away when Brendon turned around. He saw Spencer walking into the cafeteria with Jon Walker. A smug smirk appeared on Ryan’s face.
Spencer sat down. “I hope you weren’t being too blatantly gay about your crush on Brendon.” Spencer chuckled.
“Well I know you were with Jon,” Ryan teased. Ryan stole Spencer’s paper bag and pulled out the secondary sandwich Mrs. Smith always packed for Ryan.
Spencer rolled his eyes. “I told you. We are just on Student Council together.”
Ryan laughed at Spencer. “Seriously. You’re secretary and he’s president. Don’t lie to me and say you’ve never had a fantasy about staying late one night and leaning in too close that leads to amazing kissing and sex that defiles the conference room. ”
Spencer turned red. Again. And shook his head. “No… Just no.” Spencer looked up and saw Brendon looking at their table. Mainly it was them, then some underclassmen at said table. “Brendon is looking at us, or you, or the table in general.”
“Shit, do you think he saw me looking?” Ryan asked; his eyes downcast as he tipped his fedora so the rim covered his eyes.
“Maybe. I don’t know. Have fun in Physics,” Spencer said.
“Have fun fucking Jon!”
“You should’ve joined Student Council.”

Brendon stood outside the field house with the lacrosse players and the cheer squad. He was talking to captain of the lacrosse team, Pete Wentz.
“Anyway,” Pete started. “Any idea why Ross kept staring at you in lunch?”
Brendon rolled his eyes. “I don’t know, probably has a huge homosexual crush on me.” His tone was harsh and downright mean. In all honesty, Brendon felt bad about being such an asshole. It really wasn’t him but he had to keep up appearances.
His arm was wrapped around Greta’s waist. She was talking to her friend Vicky-T and ignoring Brendon and Pete’s conversation.
Greta pulled away from Brendon and went to the other side of the foyer. She started talking to Ryan Ross who had apparently been trying to sneak into the pep rally inconspicuously.
Patrick Stump, co-captain, snorted. “I feel sorry for Spencer Smith. No doubt that Ross has tried to do God only knows what to him.”
They all nodded. Brendon looked at Ryan for more than a moment. However, when Ryan looked up, Brendon looked away. Suddenly Jon was next to him smiling knowingly. Brendon loathed that smile.
“Time to head in,” Jon said so serenely that Brendon made a mental note to steal his flip-flops later.

Ryan slowly popped the beads off of the “spirit necklaces”. He had nothing against school spirit, this was the last Pep Rally he had to endure ever, after all, he was just bored. If it weren’t for the fact that he could feel Spencer’s eyes on him, Ryan would’ve skipped the pep rally altogether. Slowly Ryan tried to take a nap.
“And now our own Decaydance Cheer Squad!” Jon Walker announced brightly. This woke Ryan up. He honestly took advantage of watching Brendon cheer without having to go to a sporting event.
Anyone with eyes could see Ryan’s eyes on Brendon as he did flips, back handsprings, and cartwheels. Ryan even applauded with the rest of the student body when Brendon lifted Greta into the air.
“Let’s have another round of applause for our cheerleaders.” Jon raised his hands above his head and clapped. “And now, doing his self-choreographed senior individual, Brendon Boyd Urie!”
Ryan was the loudest when Brendon walked out into the center of the gymnasium. Then everyone went quiet as Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody started, suddenly changed to Sandstorm, moving to Radiohead and other bands. Brendon transitioned from one song to the next using smooth dance moves.
If Brendon wasn’t a straight jackass, Ryan would’ve thought he was gay by the way he moved. That thought alone made Ryan’s stomach ache with want. Brendon turned his head and both pairs of chocolate eyes connected for the briefest of moments. Ryan’s stomach lurched, God he wanted Brendon.
The music stopped just as Brendon did a split. Sweat glistened on his hairline, dripping down his nose. Brendon seemed to realize who he was staring at and immediately turned his head to the rest of the student body and grinned. The applause was thunderous and pulsed against Brendon’s ears.
Ryan turned away blushing and then he made eye contact with Spencer. Fuckin’ a.
Calm down was the look he got back.
Ryan breathed deeply; trying.
Jon continued announcing the different teams and accomplishments, lag time being filled with games. Finally it came down to the Saran Wrap Race. “Now we’re going to choose two people from each grade to get wrapped together using Saran Wrap. They’ll be wrapped by a Student Council Member from their corresponding grade and then they must run to the green line and back together.”
Members of the council dispersed through the grades. For freshman it was Cash Colligan and Alex DeLeon. For sophomores it was Nate Navarro and Vicky-T, Greta’s friend. For juniors, Gerard Way and Frank Iero were selected.
Spencer went to the seniors. “How about Brendon Urie!” He called out; the class cheered. Spencer searched his class until his eyes landed on his target. “And Ryan Ross!” The class continued to cheer while Ryan glared and stood up. I’ll kill you.
Spencer smiled. You’ll thank me.
“Ready… set… Wrap!” Jon called out, making eye contact with Spencer.
Spencer pushed Brendon and Ryan together, face-to-face, and began to wrap them up.
The seniors were ahead in wrapping. Ryan and Brendon looked at each other awkwardly.
“I’ll kill him.” Brendon and Ryan said at the same time. They both looked away. Spencer found it hilarious.
“Done! Go!” Spencer said. He then gave them a push. Watching them run gracelessly, Spencer wondered how long it’d be before someone tripped.
Sure enough, Ryan, who was running backwards, tripped and fell back, bringing Brendon down on top of him. The look on Ryan’s face was a priceless mix of pleasure and horror. There was a flicker of something on Brendon’s face for a moment before he dropped his head and kissed Ryan. There was a stunning silence. The other classes stopped wrapping and racing.
Spencer smirked and felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Jon. Then he remembered that morning.
I’ll come out when you kiss Brendon Urie.
Fuck. Ryan would kill him if he didn’t want to keep up his end of the deal.
“Uh, Jon… Wait, fuck.” Spencer turned off Jon’s mic. “I’m kind of… well… gay and … Jesus Fuck… I really fucking like you. There.” Spencer actually felt better.
Jon took Spencer’s face in his hands. He said, “Nice to see we’re on the same page,” then he kissed Spencer.
The silence in the gymnasium continued.
That was the day that statuses were destroyed, and four boys were finally true to themselves.
That was the day the disguises fell.
