supervisors say the darndest things

At work, I switched desks recently for more comfort. The computer on my new desk doesn't get used much. On my breaks, I go online. When I tried to watch a video one day, I was prompted to update flashplayer, but was not able to do so because I do not have administrator access. I informed my supervisor of this. She asked me to demonstrate the problem, which I did. Here is the approximate conversation that followed:

Supervisor: "Why don't you just use the actual internet?"
Me: *Blink Blink* "What do you mean?"
Supervisor: "Close Firefox and open the actual internet."
Me: "Do you mean Internet Explorer?"
Supervisor: "Yeah."

This made me smile.
