I'm not surprised
Forgive my naivete. I didn't realize, at first, that when a conservative says that Ted Kennedy "would have gotten more done by now," they mean that he would have caved to their demands. Of this I am highly doubtful. I'm not sure if Nancy Reagan meant it that way or not, but I've been hearing it as such from other conservatives.
